You have storm damage.  What happens now?

Let Alpha Roofing help.

  • Call your insurance company: Report the possible loss and let the professionals determine the extent of the damage.
  • Select your contractor: Protect your most valuable asset by choosing a contractor familiar with the insurance claims process as soon as possible. If there are any discrepancies, you will be represented professionally.
  • Adjuster meeting: The insurance company and your contractor need to agree on the price claimed. You should also be present and remain informed throughout the process.
  • Call your mortgage company: Discuss about your claim and inquire about their procedures for draft endorsement and contractors affidavits, lien releases, and more. Be proactive!
  • Send check to mortgage company once you receive your first check: Do not endorse the check, send the check to your mortgage company and request their endorsement first. This will help speed things up.
  • Review and schedule the project: Once the job is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the work, you should expect to pay the balance of your first proceeds, plus your deductible.
  • Choose color and style: Verify the material manufacturer, style and color with your contractor.
  • Inspect your project: Once the job is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the work, you should expect to pay the balance of your first proceeds, plus your deductible.
  • File for recoverable depreciation: Upon receipt of the invoice from your contractor, showing that the job is complete, you can file for the depreciation amount.
  • Final Payment: Upon completion of the job and your satisfaction, you can expect to pay the final balance for a job well done.
  • Secure all documents: Keep all documentation in a safe place and treat it as you would any warranty information. Enjoy your newly restored home, and peace of mind!
